Indoor air quality for the building you work in

An office, shop or shared workspace puts a lot of people on the same air for a long day. Apollo works on that air from the forced-air system outward, with 24 Hour Service behind it.

Chapter 01

A full building breathes hard

Apollo's own commercial page says it plainly: the high occupancy of commercial buildings makes them one of the most polluted indoor air environments.

More people, more door openings and more hours on the same air handlers all land on the mechanical system. So the work starts with the forced-air equipment the building already has, and what it moves through the space all day.

Treating the air inside the ductwork

For in-duct treatment Apollo installs the Guardian Air REME HALO by RGF. The maker describes it as fitting easily into any forced-air system and cycling on and off with the HVAC equipment.

RGF lists reduction of smoke, odors, VOCs, allergens, dust and particulate among its design aims, and describes a washable catalyst built for high-load rooms. Ventilation, exhaust fans and dehumidification sit on Apollo's commercial service list alongside it, so the air side of the building can be handled as one job.

Chapter 03

Testing and tightening the building

Air that leaks out of a duct never reaches the room. Apollo's commercial specialisations include air duct leakage testing, building air tightness testing and duct cleaning, so the first step can be measuring what the building does before anything is added to it.

The same list covers weatherization programs for LEED, Green and Energy Star projects, direct digital controls and computer rooms. A new build, a remodel or a retrofit can bring that work in at the design stage.

More commercial work

Apollo works out of 1119 W. Columbia Drive in Kennewick and serves the Tri-Cities and the surrounding area. If the air complaint turns out to be a tired rooftop unit or a boiler problem, the same crew handles it, and 24 Hour Service at (509) 396-2653 is always open.
