Indoor air quality for Tri-Cities homes
Your heating and cooling system moves the air in the whole house every day. Apollo fits filtration, purification and ionization into that system, matched to your home and the people in it.
Chapter 01
What is actually in the air at home
Dust, pollen, pet dander and the odours from the kitchen all ride the same duct system that heats and cools the house. In a dry Tri-Cities summer, smoke from outside can join them. A system that moves that air all day either holds the particles back or hands them out to every room.
Apollo's own guidance on smoke is practical: a good filter, proper ventilation and a clean system do most of the work. Smoke lingers long after the source is gone, which is why the filter, the coil and the ducts matter more than any single gadget.
Some households ask for more than a filter. Allergy sufferers, infants and the elderly are the people Apollo hears about most, and the conversation starts with what the household actually deals with.

Filtration, purification and ionization
Filtration is the base. A higher-rated filter, sized to fit the system, traps fine particles including smoke before they reach the blower. From there, Apollo offers three kinds of equipment that work on top of it: the Carrier Infinity air purifier, the RGF REME HALO-LED installed in the ductwork, and the GPS auto-cleaning ionization system.
The HALO-LED sits in the duct and runs with the HVAC system, switching on and off as the system does. It is mercury-free and uses an LED cell and a washable catalyst. Ionization of this kind charges the air so that dust, dander and pollen clump together and your existing filter catches more of them.
The GPS system from Global Plasma Solutions is a needlepoint bi-polar ionization unit that cleans itself. Each of these is matched to the system and the household, and the manufacturers publish technical resources you can read before you decide.
Chapter 03
Filters and upkeep
Equipment is only half the job. The filter has a schedule, and the schedule is shorter in smoke season. Vents and ducts collect dust and lint over the years, and a dirty system is less able to draw in and clean the air passing through it.
Apollo's technicians also clean ducts. One customer wrote on the company's testimonials page that they were “beyond impressed” with the organization and job performance of the two technicians who serviced their system and cleaned their ducts.
A scheduled service agreement keeps the coil clean and the filter on the calendar, so the purifier you chose keeps doing the job you chose it for.
